Services / Capital & Access
Five services for Gulf principals who need capital to move correctly across the India-Gulf corridor, or who require access to transactions and relationships that do not reach the public market.
Capital & Access
Capital outside the conventional banking system, for Gulf principals with India operating requirements.
Access to non-bank capital sources for Gulf principals with India capital requirements: family offices, private credit funds, and institutional lenders operating outside the conventional Indian banking system. For situations where bank finance is unavailable, insufficient, or structurally misaligned with the requirement.
SKR Meridian does not lend, invest, or take positions. The engagement covers identifying the right capital source for the specific situation, structuring the approach correctly under RBI and FEMA frameworks, and facilitating the introduction with appropriate context. An introduction from a credible advisor who is known on the India side arrives differently than a cold approach or a broker relationship.
Suitable for
When to engage
When a capital gap exists in an India operating or investment situation and conventional banking is insufficient or unavailable on viable terms. Private credit is more expensive than bank finance and should be used precisely, not by default.
Capital & Access
Capital and holding structures that work across Gulf and India jurisdictions, not despite them.
Advisory on capital and holding structures spanning Gulf and India jurisdictions: typically UAE, Mauritius, Singapore, and India. Coverage includes holding structure design for Gulf-originating capital entering India, inter-company flow architecture, repatriation planning, and FDI structuring under RBI, FEMA, and DPIIT requirements.
Gulf principals structuring India investments frequently build the entry structure without full visibility of what the repatriation and exit structure will look like from the India side. Correcting a multi-jurisdictional structure post-investment is significantly more complex and tax-sensitive than designing it correctly before capital is deployed.
Suitable for
When to engage
Before capital is deployed into India, where possible. The structuring cost at inception is a fraction of the correction cost post-investment.
Capital & Access
A curated private flow of India-Gulf corridor opportunities, not in the public market and not available by search.
A curated membership providing access to a private flow of pre-vetted India-Gulf corridor opportunities: capital opportunities, trade transactions, and partnership introductions that are not in the public market and not reachable through conventional channels. Membership is by application and selection. Opportunities are matched to member profiles before being presented.
The membership is deliberately small. A large membership dilutes the quality of the flow and increases the probability that a given opportunity reaches a party for whom it is not relevant. Applications are reviewed against current membership composition and are not automatically accepted.
Suitable for
When to engage
When active India corridor deal or partnership flow is a strategic priority and existing networks are not generating it at the required quality. Applications are reviewed selectively; not all applications are accepted.
"Discretion is not a feature.
It is the default."
The two services below operate in the private market. They are not listed for general enquiry. A facilitated introduction from a trusted intermediary, or a transaction presented through a closed exchange, carries institutional weight that a brokered or publicly listed opportunity cannot. The value is in the selectivity and the confidentiality, not in the volume.
Capital & Access
Capital introduced to India transactions that do not reach the public market.
A closed exchange facilitating the introduction of Gulf capital to specific India-side transactions that do not reach the public market: by design, by confidentiality requirement, or by the nature of the counterparty. Transactions are pre-screened for structural soundness, counterparty credibility, and documentation readiness before any introduction to capital is made.
The exchange does not aggregate listings or operate on volume. A facilitated exchange operating under strict confidentiality, where Gulf capital and India opportunity are introduced only when there is a credible and specific basis for alignment. SKR Meridian acts as trusted intermediary and quality filter, with no financial position in the transaction outcome.
Suitable for
When to engage
When quality, pre-screened, private India transaction flow is the requirement and existing origination is insufficient. Or on the India opportunity side, when the right Gulf capital counterparty pool is narrow enough that a private introduction is more efficient than a public process.
Capital & Access
Facilitated introductions between Gulf institutions and India-side counterparts, when the introduction itself is the work.
Facilitated institutional introductions between Gulf-based principals or institutions and India-side counterparts: banks, regulatory bodies, family offices, industrial groups, and institutional investors. Coverage includes identification of the appropriate India-side counterpart, framing of the introduction with sufficient context on both sides, and follow-through to ensure the introduction lands correctly.
This service exists for situations where the introduction itself, rather than a transaction or structure, is the primary need. A Gulf institution seeking a senior RBI-familiar relationship, a Gulf family office wanting access to a specific India sector group, or a Gulf sovereign-linked vehicle seeking an India-side principal who understands both operating environments. The quality of such an introduction is determined entirely by the intermediary's standing on both sides of it.

When to engage
This service is accepted by referral only. The network density required to facilitate introductions at this level is built over time and cannot be generalised to all enquiries. Referral from an existing client or professional contact is required before an engagement can be considered.
This service is accepted by referral only. If you have been referred by an existing client or contact of the institution, write directly to corridor@skrmeridian.ae and include the name of the referring party.
Whether the need is a holding structure, private transaction flow, or an institutional introduction, the first step is the same. One conversation to establish whether there is alignment and what the correct path looks like.
